uSee gives producers eyes on the ground

WITH more than half of Qld still drought declared, it is more important than ever to have regular inspections of water points for every business in the farming sector.

This includes both monitoring cattle in a paddock or water storage for farming.

“Here at Harrington Systems Electronics, we believe that the agricultural sector within our great country is the most rapidly advancing industry in the technology era,” founder and managing director, William Harrington said.

“We are very excited to share our technology with farmers who want to increase production and reduce cost but also who want peace of mind that they can tackle any water issues they are facing with the drought we are going through.”

Harrington Systems Electronics designs and manufactures the uSee Remote Monitoring System, a solar-powered remote camera and tank monitoring system.

The technology observes, records and uploads live data and images of targeted sites such as watering points, tanks, pumps, irrigation or feeding systems.

The system, uSee, offers the ability to reduce work-load for time-poor farmers and families by giving instant digital readings via both mobile and satellite networks.

These digital readings and custom alerts can portray data for tank levels and water flow, with instant photographs capturing images of stock watering points for both water levels and animal health and well-being.

“We’re using new practical technologies alongside hands-on, experience-based knowledge passed down from generation to generation,” Mr Harrington said.

“We hope this will help our farmers during the tough times ahead.”
